Senior Full-stack Java Developer

Tiger Team has a need for a Senior Full-stack Sr. Java / Angular JS / Hibernate Engineer to work with our team on a client site located in NW Washington DC.
 
We are currently looking for a talented Software Developer with expert skills in Java to work in a Java/ Hibernate/ PostgreSQL environment. 
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Full application stack development
  • Develop Java back-end features in a Java/ Hibernate/ PostgreSQL environment
  • Develop AngularJS front-end features
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
 Required Skills:
  •  BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • 2-5 years of software development experience using Java
  • Full landscape development experience: front-end to persistence
  • Full software lifecycle participation: requirements to post-implementation
  • Agile software development/SCRUM
  • Linux command line
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
  • Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
  • Solid understanding of how to unit test software and Software Debugging
 Required experience:
  • Prefer local DC candidates.
  • Software Development using Java and full landscape development: front-end to persistence: 3 years
